About

The sweet and dusty music of Kansas City’s crossroads sound

I fell in love with discovering music, when older friends started handing me their second-hand cassettes of college radio and American roots bands. Making mixtapes off the radio, I taught himself guitar by playing along with my favorite records, and working out the parts from imagination I wished I heard in the songs. Equally layered and melodic, I am as likely to create sparsely spaced layers as walls of screaming noise.
